Mobile App Privacy Policy

This policy explains how GetMe Products, operated by GD Communications Pvt Limited (company number 13466245, 12 Crown Street, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 7PQ, United Kingdom), handles personal information in our Android and iOS mobile apps. It sits alongside our main Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

1. Information you give us

• Account details — name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, and password when you create an account.
• Order and payment details — what you buy and the delivery information needed to fulfil it. Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store your full card details.
• Messages — anything you send us by email or in-app chat when you contact support.

2. Information collected automatically

• Device and log data — IP address, device type and model, operating system, app version, referring pages and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember your basket and measure app performance.
• Approximate location — derived from your IP address, to show relevant delivery and pricing information.
• Usage analytics — which screens and products you view, via analytics tools including Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics.

3. How we use it

To create and manage your account, process and deliver your orders, handle returns and refunds, provide customer support, keep the app secure and prevent fraud, improve the app, and — where you have opted in — send you marketing. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

Our legal bases under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our business, your consent for marketing, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only where necessary: with Shopify (our e-commerce platform), Vajro (our mobile app provider), payment processors, delivery couriers, and analytics providers acting on our behalf. We may also disclose information where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a public authority, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of our business. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Sensitive information

We do not collect special category data such as health data, biometric or genetic data, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, or data about sexual orientation. Please do not send us such information.

6. Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

7. Security

We use physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your information and monitor our systems for vulnerabilities. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending us information whose disclosure could cause you serious harm.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email info@getmeproducts.co.uk.

Account and data deletion: email info@getmeproducts.co.uk asking us to delete your account. We will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by email.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

9. Children

Our app is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Third-party links

The app may link to other websites. We do not control their privacy practices — please review their policies.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time and will post any changes on this page with a revised date. Where changes are significant we will provide clearer notice.
